Contra Kantian Anthropocentrism If we accept the idea that only rational agents are deserving of moral consideration, then we must accept a world where rationality becomes the ultimate goal of all agents. Thus, any emotional feelings, expression, and actions is not acceptable and wronged. The world would aim at developing a purely rational civilization. An example would be finding a life partner. Everyone is now obligated to find a partner based on rational decisions and the feeling of love should not be taken into consideration. Actually, acting out of love becomes morally wrong.
