One example can be used to demonstrate why eco-engineering is problematic. For example, you go into somebody's house and try to steal something from the owner. Then, the owner sees you and has a heart attack and then dies. When you were trying to steal from him, you didn’t expect(probably) this thing to happen. But the current law requires you to hold responsibility to his death, in a sense that man needs to be responsible for the possible future outcome of his action. Similarly, we want to have the eco-engineering thing right now, but we don’t know the possible outcome in the future. However, we are still accountable for the possible adverse outcome that might happen in the future.
