The rapid development of technology is making a considerable change in people’s daily life. Most people cannot stand life without smartphones, and they spend a lot of time on smartphones. The apps are also evolving as people are using them more frequently. Nowadays, mobile apps collect and analyze users’ data and custom contents based on algorithms. Users are more addicted to the smartphone, and more importantly, their privacy is violated. Some say that they do not care much about privacy, and they prefer a better online experience instead. Technology firms also argue that they collected data only when users acknowledge their user’s regulation. Many technology firms do not realize the importance of the user’s privacy, and they do not even give users the right to choose- a person can only use the app when he accepts the user’s regulation. User’s privacy should be taken more seriously.
